Crying after the rain and five days later |
Stream Lamari Euboea. 22 and 28 August 2015
Euboa (or Evia) - an island east of Athens; It is a microcosm of Greece.
A lifeline for many Athenians is the free camping site known as Chiliadou. Chiliadu (pronounced "Chiliadu") is located on Mount Durfis on the central east coast of Long Island. It takes me two and a half hours of easy driving to reach it. The spectacular scenery is the climb up the mountain with the Greek pine and oats and then down to the sea beach, which looks like a strange sea island from the windward side.
I recently took my son and his two friends on a camping trip for free (I put them in the camper and took them out). It was after a long night of rain. Five days have passed. Lamery Creek, with a path crossing the bay, was thirty feet wide on August 22nd and burning in full force on the brown. Five days later, when I took them off and came back, the same spot was completely dry.
A roar of the Lamari stream affected the sea: the plains were completely muddy! The color was a lime blue brown. It was also a sea swell that was not suitable for sailing. The teenagers had a great break, I recommend.
Below are some photos.
